The Lenzerheide TrailTrophy powered by transalpes.com was the final stop of this year’s first ever five-stop TrailTrophy Series, totalling a ‘record’ 13 ridden stages across the whole series. The individual stages were amazingly varied, with each trail having its own character: from fast and flowy trails all the way to technical rocky passages, through fields of roots and with a few pedal sections thrown in for good measure. Some of the fastest riders were clocking times of around 5 minutes for some stages, proving that this TrailTrophy, powered by transalpes.com offered up some seriously challenging conditions. “We managed to carry everything off as planned this year, partially thanks to the stable weather situation” explained Thomas Schlecking, a proud member of the Organisational team.
The riders were all stoked with the selection of stages. “Amazing trails in fantastic locations and, as per usual, loads of excited participants – that pretty much sums up TrailTrophy” said Christian Beeretz, winner of the Men’s Masters Class. Together with his teammates Matthias Sutter and Matthias Menzl, Beeretz’ team, “Santa Claus Syndicate and friends”, enjoyed third place in the team competition. The team competition title went to “Bro’duro Racing” from Switzerland, made up of Karl Bühler, Hannes Suter and Nick Siegenthaler who took home, amongst other things, a new set of 661 helmets.
Prizes from our sponsors amounting to over 10,000 Euros were given out across both the single ranking competitions and series ranking competitions at TrailTrophy 2015 powered by transalpes.com at Lenzerheide. The Transalpes Factory Team (SUI), represented by Adrian Berger, David Lienhard and Valentin Schorpp were the winners of the men’s Pro Class, defeating the FOX team of Tommy Umbreit, Stefan Bonatz and Franziska Meyer.
